began, continued with great success well into the 80s.

Founding member Marcia Barrett, born in Jamaica, moved from England to Germany in the late 60s, where she initially performed as a dancer in a disco in Hamburg. Over the years, the band has received 50 platinum, 42 gold and 50 silver records, has been awarded the Golden Europe twice in Germany (1977 and 1981) and the
Golden Tuning Fork (1983) and RSH Gold (1990)
