Bruno Mars is a singer, songwriter, producer and musician, a real all-rounder. He was born into a musical family in Honolulu/Hawaii and practically grew up on stage. His father, a Latin percussionist from Brooklyn, created a Las Vegas-style revue in which the whole family performed. When little Bruno first appeared and sang an Elvis song, the Hawaiian newspapers wrote "Little Elvis" when describing his stage skills. Since then, a lot has happened in the life of the now 25-year-old Bruno Mars, whose real name is Peter Hernandez. Before he caused a sensation last year with his extremely successful debut album "Doo-Wops & Hooligans", Mars worked as a music producer for Flo Rida, Alexandra Burke, Travie McCoy, Brandy, BoB and the Sugababes. He also made a name for himself as co-writer of K'Naan's song "Waving Flag". At this year’s Grammy Awards, the likeable and good-looking artist received his first Grammy for the single “Just The Way You Are”.
