Lady GaGa - the name is derived from the hit Radio Gaga by the rock band Queen - first wrote songs for others (including the Pussycat Dolls) before she made her first release in 2008. With the debut single "Just Dance" she entered the charts internationally.

For them it is part of the philosophy to entertain the audience through performances with "shocking" elements. This performing form of performance was inspired by artists such as David Bowie and Queen, whom she defines as her personal art icons.
