It is his versatility that particularly sets Paul Carrack apart. Whether as a songwriter, singer or producer - his class is undisputed. Thanks to decades of experience and constant collaboration with a wide variety of artists (Roger Waters, Eagles, Elton John, Frankie Miller and many more) from the areas of rock, pop, soul and blues, a special style has emerged. Carrack's most popular hour of career came in 1985, when he accepted a request from Genesis bassist Mike Rutherford and joined his new band "Mike & The Mechanics".
The single "Silent Running", interpreted by Paul, proves to be a good choice and develops into a worldwide hit, which is followed by other successful numbers: For example "The Living Years" and "Over My Shoulder".
