Soldier Of Love is only the sixth studio album Sade has released in her 25-year career. There is a break of ten years between their last work "Lover's Rock" and the new long player alone. But for Sade Adu, integrity and authenticity in songwriting is paramount: “I only make a record when I feel like I have something to say. I have no interest in releasing music just to have something to sell. Sade is not a brand.”

Nigerian-born singer Sade Adu is one of pop music's distinct voices. She has developed her own inimitable style, which sets her apart from the usual generic record store. Born in 1959 in Ibadan, Nigeria, Sade combines her velvety voice with intelligent lyrics. She is the daughter of a Nigerian economics professor and an English nurse. She grew up in On-Sea, Essex after her parents divorced. At 17, she began studying fashion design at St. Martin's School of Art. She also worked as a photo model.

Sade can only be booked for private events.
