Since the age of twenty he has worked as a radio presenter at Radio Zürisee and moderated
then at Roger Schawinski's Radio 24, where he became known for his morning show "Ufsteller".

When looking, he wrote columns. Later he moderated the Swiss football games “live ran” in the Swiss window of Sat.1. In 2003 he switched to the radio station
Energy Zurich, where he still writes "Mein Morgen" today
moderated.

At Schweizer Fernsehen SF he presented the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 behind the camera
Streetparade 2004 as well as in front of the camera
Miss Switzerland election 2004. He experienced his breakthrough in television by moderating the first season of MusicStar. Then he got one
Contract to host SF Deal or No Deal and the second season of MusicStar.

From October 17, 2005 to August 28, 2006
moderated Roman Kilchsperger together with Chris von Rohr on SF Zwei the Late Night Show Black 'N' Blond.

During the soccer World Cup in 2006, he moderated for the private German broadcaster Premiere. In the 3rd season and 4th season (February 1 to March 29, 2009 on SF1) of the talent show MusicStar, he sat as a juror.

Kilchsperger has been presenting Donnschtig-Jass on Swiss television since July 2011.
