Katja Stauber lived with her parents in Namibia until she was 5 years old, after which the family moved to Switzerland. She studied law at the University of Zurich and in 1987 at the University of Santa Barbara.
After her studies, she worked in the journalistic environment at several radio stations such as Radio 24, European Business Channel and Radio Z (today Radio Energy). Since 1992 is Katja Stauber Presenter and editor of the main edition of the Tagesschau on Swiss television.
Her trademark here is saying goodbye with the Swiss German words “Uf Widerluege”. Katja Stauber is married to the Tagesschau editor/moderator Florian Inhauser and can also take over double moderation with him.
